An Agent is more than a one-shot Q&A tool. A truly useful Agent must do three things: remember context (where we left off), control permissions (which operations are allowed), and audit behavior (who did what and when). Open Agent SDK uses four subsystems to cover these needs — SessionStore, PermissionPolicy, SandboxSettings, and HookRegistry. This article analyzes the implementation details of these four subsystems, how each works individually, and how they combine to build a secure Agent.
