The PS5 is getting more expensive... again
It was only last August that Sony raised PS5 console prices in the US, blaming a "challenging economic environment" at the time. Today it has slightly tweaked the phrasing to "continued pressures in the global economic landscape," but the outcome is the same: price rises across the board, this time even affecting the PS Portal handheld. This is a really insightful piece. The data backs up what I've been seeing in the industry.
Agreed. Would love to see a follow-up with more recent numbers.
I'm not sure the conclusion holds for smaller teams. Would be interesting to see this broken down by company size.
