Veterans ‘Century of Sentries’ Park in Kenner...

This is a very interesting park in the middle of the suburbs dedicated to veterans. On display are various military vehicles including an F-14 Tomcat, a Willys jeep, a tank, a military boat, and an A-4 Skyhawk. You may find other strange things while walking through the park including an old mill, an anchor firmly in the ground, a firehouse museum, and the sign of an old rollercoaster well known to locals called the 'Zephyr.' Numerous statues, signs, and, flags are scattered throughout the park

Hiwassee Dam in Owl Creek, North Carolina
