Terms of Service

Last updated: March 27, 2026

1. What txtfeed is

txtfeed is a content discovery platform that aggregates and curates content from public sources (Reddit, Hacker News, RSS feeds, Wikipedia). All content links to its original source. We are not the publisher of the content.

2. Your account

You can use txtfeed without an account. When you sign up, you agree to provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account activity. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post spam, misleading, or offensive comments
  • Manipulate votes or abuse the reporting system
  • Scrape or crawl txtfeed beyond what robots.txt allows
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
  • Use automated tools to interact with the platform (except via our API)

4. Content and moderation

Content on txtfeed is sourced from third parties. We curate and moderate but do not guarantee accuracy. Comments you post are your responsibility. We may remove content or comments that violate our guidelines. Repeated violations result in account suspension.

5. Pro subscription

Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly (€6.99) or annually (€59). You can cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period before downgrade.

6. Intellectual property

txtfeed's design, code, and brand are our property. Content sourced from third parties belongs to their respective owners. Comments you post grant us a license to display them on txtfeed.

7. Liability

txtfeed is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we make no guarantees. We are not liable for damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
