Working with a freelancer in Italy, I’m in US. They are looking to use Wise to transfer the payment. The business seems like a legit small freelancer. No real reason to doubt their legitimacy. For my safety I asked about an option to pay smaller amounts for the service rather than all at once, that way if something was off and they ghost, I’m not losing any substantial money.
